Energizer and the environment

At Energizer we're continuously working on ways to help the environment. That's why all our batteries are fully compliant with European directives regarding chemical substances. And as a member of the European Portable Battery Association, as well as a member of National Battery Associations, we play an active role in setting viable collection and recycling schemes.

In many European countries we're working with retailers and partners to implement collection and recycling. If you would like to find out more about batteries in your environment, check with your local ministry for environmental affairs. They will be able to provide you with the national law regarding battery disposal.
